I
only breed occasionally, so potential buyers are selected with
care. My
priority is to place puppies in responsible homes.
From birth to 4 weeks old, puppies grow at my home. After that,
they go to my house at Quebec city where my mother can take care of them
when I return
at work. During all this period, I go regularly see them to
assure they have
all necessary for their development, mentally and physically.
My puppies can leave my home at 8 weeks old. Even if I do the
best to assure
the better socialization possible, I consider that at this
age, the new
families can offer more than me a variety of situations in the
real life to
assure puppies are well socialized.
They are vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped and are
registered with the
Canadian Kennel Club with a non-breeding agreement. All are
sold with a
sales contract and it is specifically indicate the dog have to
be sterilized
during his first year. They are guaranteed 2 years for genetic
health issues
and temperament and we offer lifetime support.
My commitment to the puppies does not end when families take
puppies home.
My intention is you have many years of love and friendship
with your
Schapendoes, so I will be always happy to provide you any
advice and support
that may be needed all the life of your dog.
If unfortunately you can no longer care for your Schapendoes,
my home is
always open. If I am not able to welcome the dog on my home, I
will help you
to find a suitable replacement home. Under no circumstances,
any Debruyeres
puppy should be taken to a human society, rescue organization
and even worse
in puppy mill.
Finally, I love to stay in touch with my puppies after they
leave me for
their new homes and I hope to continue to have news of them
all of their
life.
